Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) uses Smart Pulse technology to selectively target pigmented and vascular lesions resulting in a noticeably clearer and brighter skin tone with a more even complexion. It also enhances collagen production to reduce skin laxity and improve fine lines and the appearance of deeper wrinkles.

Treatment Cycle

Results are instantly visible however we advise IPL Skin Rejuvenation is most effective after a series of treatments and will continue to show improvement over the following weeks. The exact number of sessions will be dependent on the individual, the area being treated and the existing skin condition but generally you will require between 3 - 6 treatments at 2 to 4 weeks intervals. We advise no recent sun exposure to the treated area minimum of 2 weeks prior to treatment and no spray tan to be present at the time of treatment. 

Down Time and Expectations

Little to no downtime with the potential for a mild erythema (redness) however majority of our clients are able to continue their activities throughout the rest of the day. For pigmentation clients, some may experience a darkening of their pigmentation, freckles or spots post treatment which will fade or flake over the next coming days.
