Broken Capillaries

Broken capillaries, also known as spider veins or telangiectasia, are small, dilated blood vessels near the surface of the skin that appear as red, blue, or purple lines. These capillaries can become more visible due to factors such as genetics, sun exposure, aging, harsh weather conditions, or skin trauma. They are most commonly found on the face, especially around the nose and cheeks. While broken capillaries are typically harmless, they can be a cosmetic concern. Treatments such as laser therapy or gentle skincare can help reduce their appearance and improve the skin's overall tone.
